New Journey

For those who may not know I am about to start on a new journey to another internship.

I leave for Texas in 5 days.

I am looking forward to this, because I have this feeling it will be just as great at Minnesota was.
For now I am loving each day I have left with matthew, but I leave :(

Can't wait. I will be a photo intern at The Victoria Advocate in Victoria, TX.

Back in Kentucky

I've been home in good ole Kentucky since the second week of August. It has been amazing to be home, and I almost don't want to leave, but I know that Texas will bring many new opportunities and I just have to remind myself I will come back.

Here are a full fun photos I've done this "summer" my summer since I've been home. :)

First Matt and I went on a vacation to Panama City Beach with our friends Chuck and Nina Jewell.

We celebrated our family in August with welcoming Baby Hayden into our crazy family in Ohio.

After all is said and done I realize my immediate family never got a photo together...oh well :)

My cousin Jake, turned four :)

WKU football--well kind of :)

This just about sums up the end of the game :/

Celebrate Kentucky

At the University of Kentucky's hospital there is a new Celebrate Kentucky wall, which is a giant wall full of photographs taken in Kentucky. I was lucky enough to have one of my photographs chosen for this wall. And today I just got a first view of what it looks like via some photos I saw taken online.

Here is the photo that got chosen,

Bonnie, left, Christine's Lund's mother, took pictures and video recorded Lund getting her hair done for her first prom Saturday, March, 20, 2009.
"I did this with your sister, so now I'm going to do it with you," Bonnie said.
"I've never seen those..." Jenn, Lund's sister said quitley.

I mean of course my photo is either super tiny, in the top left corner in the first one. Or cut in half in the top left corner in the bottom photo.

Either way I am super excited about this, and it is even cooler that I can put this on my resume. :)

Albany Heritage Days

My last assignment for the St Cloud Times, and it couldn't be more fitting that I went to a festival :)
