Weekly post: 5/23-5/27

It's that time of year again!
The optimism of hope, opportunity and success fills the air and our Facebook news feeds.
I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE graduation season. Every graduation I've been to I've come out with at least one amazing photo. Features are everywhere and simply graduation is newspaper gold. Everyone will one a copy and I just love that.
This was my first graduation here in Cville. It's always hard dealing with new situations and people but I'm pretty excited about how it turned out. I personally liked TC's photos better because the layout of the event was just better for more kids. The lighting at CI was super difficult to try and get candid shots.
But I did my best :) View ALL photos from grad here: CHS and TCHS

It was a pretty slow week- along with graduation I was suppose to have a cute outdoor event but due to rain it was cancelled. But then there was a fire. I also wrote a story about FREE KIDS YOGA CLASS! You should read that because there will be photos next week :)
And I wrote about DYW happening on Saturday (which will bring more photos) - read about that HERE

Also as young graduates go off into the world I hope they remember this...
"As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
Come whatever
We will still be
Friends forever" - Vitamin C

Facebook teaser

A Campbellsville home was damaged by a fire Thursday evening as severe weather moved into the area. Campbellsville Fire and Rescue was called to a house fire at 114 Oak St. just after 4 p.m. Upon arrival of firefighters, smoke was visible. Mutual aid was called in to assist while on the scene. Officials say lightning could have been the possible cause. The home, owned by Allen and Angie Johnson, sustained heavy fire and smoke damage on the first and second floor.
